Reign of Cinders and Glass by Linsey Hall and Veronica Douglas (Fated Fairytales #1)

Love it!

A fairytale retelling set in a world where the immortal vampires rule.

Ella lives in a small village, with her sister and stepmother. When her sister goes missing she goes on to look for her, only to end up getting caught by the immortal prince. She somehow doesn't end up dying and makes a huge impression on him.

She is supposed to hate him, but his face keeps lingering in her mind.

When she gets word that her sister might be in a castle, she looks for a job there. She is rejected, but on the way out, she runs into the prince again and manages to calm him untamable horse. She always had an affinity for animals, but in the castle, that ability gets amplified.

She is worked to the bone by the crazy sisters but doesn't let it stop her. She works crazy hours, is insulted, and is looked down on constantly, but never loses hope and never stops searching for her sister. Her search brings her closer to the truth, and closer to the prince. He is bad news, but she can't get him out of her head.

The world is much bigger than she thought it was and things are not always like they look. The wicked might not be so bad, the history is not always right.

I was sucked into the world and loved every page of it.

The fantasy world, the magic system, the romance, the characters, it's all so good!

Can't recommend it enough!
