Eve and Foster had a whirlwind romance, that turned sour soon. It's been five years, and they haven't seen each other since she left. Foster does stunts on a bike and his last performance didn't go as planned, with him in critical condition. Eve is now a nurse at the same hospital, he is brought to. With her still his emergency contact, she can't just leave him be and stays by his side, conveniently leaving out the "divorced part" when everyone asks her how they know each other. :) It's the sweetest second chance romance. As Foster recovers you can see them falling back in love. The story is intertwined with past snippets that explain how they got to where they are now. I loved the first half, but towards the end, I kind of lost interest, I felt it went in circles too much. She is very set on ever going back to her hometown again, but when she finds out that her mom has very little time to live, she leaves everything and goes back home. Plagued with guilt of leaving everyone and everything, she struggles to fit back in.  Right on her first night back, she runs into a person she desperately hoped to avoid, her first love and the guy she hurt the most.  The spark between them is very much alive, and the more time they spend together, the more it grows.  It's a very touching story of second chances and forgiveness, but I had the hardest time getting into it. rating ❤❤❤ cover ❤❤❤❤ Goodreads  ||  Amazon happy reading, anie

Lettie and her brother come back to their parents' farm. After a serious health scare, their parents decide to sell most of the farm, to make it a bit easier and travel more.  The news came as a huge shock to Lettie. She rarely came back, because it was getting harder and harder to get back to her big city life. She worked in fashion in London but just found out that she will probably be let go and on top of that she and her boyfriend broke up.  It seems like a perfect time to switch careers and exchange fast-paced city life for a simple country one. Only, she needs to convince her dad to let her.  With a little help from her uncle, she gets the farm, but only on a trial basis.
