Love it! A fairytale retelling set in a world where the immortal vampires rule.  Ella lives in a small village, with her sister and stepmother. When her sister goes missing she goes on to look for her, only to end up getting caught by the immortal prince. She somehow doesn't end up dying and makes a huge impression on him.  She is supposed to hate him, but his face keeps lingering in her mind. When she gets word that her sister might be in a castle, she looks for a job there. She is rejected, but on the way out, she runs into the prince again and manages to calm him untamable horse. She always had an affinity for animals, but in the castle, that ability gets amplified.  She is worked to the bone by the crazy sisters but doesn't let it stop her. She works crazy hours, is insulted, and is looked down on constantly, but never loses hope and never stops searching for her sister. Her search brings her closer to the truth, and closer to the prince. He is bad news, but she can't...

A Curse of Blood and Wolves is a paranormal retelling of Little Red Riding Hood. Ruby works at a bar and walks home through the woods every night. She feels eyes on her almost every time and once she confronts the stranger following her. But she doesn't fear when she sees him. Rafe is a werewolf, living alone, away from his pack. He keeps following Ruby trying to keep her safe, cause he feels drawn to her. I love the premise of the story, it's a fun take on the fairytale, and I like the paranormal aspect. The writing is very easy to get into and read, the story really comes alive before your eyes and the characters feel real.
