rating ❤❤❤❤ ❤ cover ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ I read the book when it first came out and didn't like it. Like at all. Recently I decided to reread it, mostly because there wasn't anything good at the library. And because the cover is stunning. :) The second time around I found myself getting totally sucked in and loving everything about it. It's addicting and fast-paced, you can't really put it down. Some so many twists and turns will make your head spin and the romance is... complicated. I will try to avoid spoilers and hope that she doesn't end up with Tamlin, cause I really don't like him. :)  Feyre's family lives in a small crowded cottage in the small village. They used to be well off, but now they barely have enough to eat. Feyre made a promise to her mom to take care of them and has ever since.  She is a huntress. Everything she knows she learned herself. She spends her day in the forest looking for a kill, so her family doesn't go hungry. Her effort is never app...

If I Loved You Less by Aamna Qureshi

Humaira is wealthy and a little bit spoiled. After finding a love match for her family, she is ready to find one for herself. Headstrong, and sure of what she wants, she looks at everyone, but the one who is right under her nose. The chemistry MCs have is addicting, I couldn't put the book down. :) It's a swoony, slow burn, and full of emotions and sparks... It's a retelling of Jane Austen's Emma, one of my all-time favorite books. and it didn't disappoint. The author took a well-known story and put her spin on it while keeping it true to the original. It's so good! rating  ❤❤❤ ❤ cover  ❤❤❤ ❤ Goodreads Amazon published: August 2,2024 happy reading, Anie

When Oceans Rise by Robin Alvarez

When Oceans Rise is a Little Mermaid retelling, with Filipino elements and alternate universes. It's such a great story, with great writing and interesting characters. It's a great and impactful story full of fantastical elements, but the ones that had the biggest impact on me were the realistic ones. The bad relationship that Malaya finds herself in, the intricacies of gaslighting, the subtleties of gaslighting, and abuse were portrayed in a very, very realistic way. We all feel like we couldn't find ourselves in that situation, it could never happen to me. And when you find yourself in that kind of situation, there is so much shame that you too, feel speechless, like Malaya did. Highly recommend it! rating❤❤❤ ❤ cover❤❤❤❤ Goodreads || Amazon happy reading, anie
