Love it! A fairytale retelling set in a world where the immortal vampires rule.  Ella lives in a small village, with her sister and stepmother. When her sister goes missing she goes on to look for her, only to end up getting caught by the immortal prince. She somehow doesn't end up dying and makes a huge impression on him.  She is supposed to hate him, but his face keeps lingering in her mind. rating ❤❤❤❤ ❤ cover ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ I read the book when it first came out and didn't like it. Like at all. Recently I decided to reread it, mostly because there wasn't anything good at the library. And because the cover is stunning. :) The second time around I found myself getting totally sucked in and loving everything about it. It's addicting and fast-paced, you can't really put it down. Some so many twists and turns will make your head spin and the romance is... complicated. I will try to avoid spoilers and hope that she doesn't end up with Tamlin, cause I really don't like him. :)  Feyre's family lives in a small crowded cottage in the small village. They used to be well off, but now they barely have enough to eat. Feyre made a promise to her mom to take care of them and has ever since.  She is a huntress. Everything she knows she learned herself. She spends her day in the forest looking for a kill, so her family doesn't go hungry. Her effort is never app...

This was the book that started it all for me. I remember getting it and reading it for the first time. There is nothing quite like the feeling of diving into a new magical world and getting lost in the book. 11 years ago a child was born to a witch and a wizard. One year later evil wizard tried to kill him, but he couldn't. He disappeared, and his parents died protecting him. He was left with his aunt and uncle to be raised alongside his cousin. It wasn't a happy childhood. He was neglected and punched to the side until 10 years later letters started to arrive. They never let him read it, going to the extreme to prevent him from getting one. Until the evening of his 11 birthday. They were hiding in an abandoned cabin in the middle of the lake when there was a knock on the doors that would change his life forever. Hagrid delivers his letter and tells him who he really is. He took him shopping the next day and one month later he was on the train to Hogwarts. His life at school wa...
