Molly's life has taken a turn for the worse. Still mourning the loss of her parents in a short time, she is looking forward to visiting her sister in Iceland. She looks forward to being with her boyfriend, but he is being very distant. When he misses his flight, it makes her rethink it all.

Away from normal life. lonely but still surrounded by family, she embarks on a tourney to rediscover who she is and find love amongst it.

I like the storyline, but had trouble staying focused on it.

You know that feeling when you read a great book and someone asks you what it is about, but nothing comes to mind, except it's sooo good, you have to read it ? Wish Upon a Streaming Star is that kind of a book. It's hilarious with seriously witty bickering, romantic (that Dirty Dancing lift... omg), but also manages to pull at every one of your heartstrings- there is one scene where I cried my eyes out along with the characters.
