Brooks was a very young dad and has worked very hard since then to prove himself. He finished school and build one of the most successful gyms in Manhattan. No way is he changing his rules for a flashy newcomer. Izzy is a fitness influencer, in New York to promote her new book. And he is one of her stops. Only he doesn't like her from the very start. It starts as hate but slowly sparks fly and it grows into something more. I liked the story and wanted to love the story, but I found the FMC very unlikeable. It's one of those guilty pleasure books that I have to read at least once a year. :) It's fast-paced, full of snark and bad-boy vibes.  Katy and her mom moved from Florida to a small town in West Virginia, right next to the Black twins. The girl soon becomes Katy's best friend. The boy, Deamon however doesn't like that one bit. He thinks Katy is a bit influence and doesn't hesitate to tell her that.  They clash all of the time, but Katy is not one to back down. Then the accident happens, and that changes everything. She finds out the trust. They clash even more, but there is also something brewing between them beneath all that anger. The rivalry picks back up where it was left up but with extra tension between them. Soon the sparks become undeniable, but with such different lives, how could they build a life together. It's so good! Extra spicy, full of LOL moments and the chemistry between them is off the charts. Their banter makes the story really shine.
