I never expected that there would be another book in the original Percy Jackson series. I was looking forward to reading it and it certainly didn't disappoint.

Percy is almost done with high school, but before he can enter college, he needs three recommendation letters from Gods. And the only way to get that is to do random quests for whichever God needs something.

First, he has to help Ganymede, who lost his golden goblet. He needs to find it before it gets into the wrong hands because it can turn any mortal into a god. 

Nothing is ever easy or straightforward in Percy's world. He, Annabeth and Grover are back together and it's the best thing! :)

It has all of the elements that made the Percy Jackson series so good, friendship, adventure and awesome mythology. The only thing that it hits differently is that the stakes are a lot lower...
