You Can Have My Back, Vol. 1 by Minami Kotsuna

I was very excited to read the book, the premise sounds great
and it has all of the elements I love: political intrigue, fantasy set-up, and reincarnation love story. But the execution itself wasn't that good. Instead story opening the door to a new world, it sets up the future stories, while not standing on its own.

I felt like was reading a sequence of events, but without an actual plot. It was quite confusing, especially at the start and had trouble staying focused. The age gap was a bit much too.
