Lost on the Way by Isabel Jolie

I was very surprised by the book to say the least. It's a heartwarmingly beautiful story, that pulls at your heartstrings. I was crying so much. :) I just wanted them to be happy and together... :) So Jason and Maggie meat at college, her boyfriend was Jason friend. And when he dies they leaned on each other and were best friends ever since. Only the way the love each other, the way the yspend time together and how they are, it's way more than just a friendship. After one drunken night, when they finally end up together, it brings up all the issues. She is sure he doesn't like her that way and he wants to keep her at arms distance, because he doesn't want to hurt her. It takes time and some pretty drastic move, for them to finally see that they are perfect for each other. It's such an awesome story, I couldn't put it down, till the last page... And it felt very real reading it. The way Jason dealt or more appropriately didn't deal with all that he felt, the

review Katherine is the mayor of a small town, but when her brother ends up in jail in a big city, she rushes in to help him. Her brother claims he is innocent and that the brother of his girlfriend framed him, so he could force him to stay away from her. That doesn't sit well with her, so she goes to him and bargains for him to release her brother. They reach a deal, if she works as a secretary for him for a month, Tate will drop the charges. She agrees, she feels like she has no choice. The more time they spend together, the more feelings are born. And later the roles are reversed. Force proximity is one of my favorite tropes, so I was excited to read it. I like the idea behind the story, but I ended up not loving it. The reason for that was Tate, I hated him from the start, his attitude, his ego, the way he talked to her, I just wanted to kick his ass. :) rating 💜💜💜 cover 💙💙💙 received from publisher genre adult, romance, contemporary published April 27th, 2020 by Dawn Hil

The story is so addicting that I couldn't put in down! I really liked Cecilia, she is troubled by her past and still letting it define her in some way while trying to move forward. And failing in love wasn't in the plan also, especially when she couldn't bring herself, to be honest about her past. Those kinds of things never can stay secret for long and long behold it all blows up, but that only the start of a very bumpy path to happily ever after. :) And then there is Brock. He is strong, stubborn, and hot, but also very hotheaded. I didn't like the way he talked to her, especially at the start of the book. But as the story moved on, I started to sloooowly like him, a bit. :) The writing style wasn't my favorite, but I loved the storyline, it is gripping and intense and so addictive, I read it in one sitting.  rating 💜💜💜💜 cover 💙💙💙 received from Xpresso Book Tours follow the tour here series O-Town, #1 genre adult, contemporary, romance published September 1

What an addicting story, from the first page, I was pulled in and read it in one sitting.  He is an up and coming snowboarder, who wants to desperately prove himself, that despite diabetes, he can do anything. And she is a figure skater, almost lost everything and wants to win so she can help her mother have a better life. While they are both very different, but have one thing in common, how much they want to prove themself.  It's such a beautiful story, that kept me on the edge of my seat. It's about fighting for what you want, overcoming sdversitity and finding your own way . Highly recommend it! rating💜💜💜💜💜 cover💙💙💙💙 received from Xpresso Book Tours follow the tour here genre sports, romance, YA published August 20th, 2020 Goodreads || Amazon giveaway a Rafflecopter giveaway synopsis Bryce is a snowboarding sensation, a cocky teenager from California with a giant chip on his shoulder called Type 1 diabetes. That was a lot of fun to read. :) Helen is a character that you can easily relate to, she is about to face bankruptcy and desperately wants to save it. Last case resort, hiring a witch to cast a spell for money, what could possibly go wrong? :) Only she has magic, that brought her nothing but trouble growing up and she tried very hard to forget. and when that magic wakes up, she has no idea how to use... so instead of good luck, she puts a spell on her rock star crush. :) The more they try to break it, the worse they make it. And spending all that time together... it leads to some feelings. :) I love the romance! And magic!  Looking forward to seeing what happens in the next one. :) rating 💜💜💜💜 cover 💙💙💙💙 received from Let's Talk Promotions / Psst... Finding Me by Kelly Gunderman

Heartwarming story, that make you feel all the feels ... Two years ago Claire was in a car accident that changed her life, forever. She and her mother were hit by a drunk driver. Her mother died and she was left in a wheelchair. And that just the start of bad things. Not only did she lose her mother, but after the accident, her father was barely home, until he left her at her grandmother's away from everything she knew. She spends a lot of time with her grandma, baking cookies, and waiting to go back. She has to go to a new school, find new friends, and a whole new life basically. And then she meets Todd, on the first day of school. He is the son of the guy who caused the accident, and he is also the guy she is falling for. It's one of those stories that leave you thinking about it for days. I felt like I was the with Claire, I rooted for her, felt with her, and was crying right along. I love writing, when I've read it, it came to life in front of me. And the characters are

The Gifts of Life by Oliver Smuhar

The gifts of life read like a classic fantasy novel, with a slow pace, amazing world-building and interesting magical system. It's a massive book. :) When everyone gathers for the most special days of the year, they get attacked. Perry, his sister and friends must find their own way. And use their power outside of that one day.  I found the writing to be very unique and quite different from what I've read recently.  It's very descriptive, so when you read you feel like you are right there in the middle of the story. I liked the storyline very much, I wish at some part for the story to be a bit more condensed. It was a bit of a struggle to get into the story, but after about a third way in, things started to flow very well and I started to fall in love with it.  I found the magical system to be very interesting in this world everyone has some kind of magical abilities, but are only allowed to use them once a year. That must really suck. :)  I had trouble connecting to the c

Sexy shifters. Hot vampires. Intriguing immortals. Strong heroine. Sizzling romance. Page-turning plot full of emotion and excitement. Modern and fresh take on fated mates. Caly Do you dream of ridiculously hot men? Okay, maybe you do. (And yes, I’m well aware I should lay off the romance books before bed.) But do you actually ever meet those men you dream about in real life? I didn’t think so. That’s probably a good thing though because I have… And these men from my dreams have done nothing but pull the rug of reality out from under me… which was how I fell and ended up in a world that I thought only existed in romance books. My name is Caly (AKA Callie) and I’m just an ordinary single woman living the LA dream… paycheck to paycheck. Except whose d
