I was so excited to read the book. I loved the first one and have high hopes for it. Unfortunately, I didn't like the story all that much.

Yeah, it's very steamy, and the storyline is ok, but I felt no chemistry between the MCs. The dialogue is very cringy at times and I don't see how they fell for each other. He became a totally different person after they started with their agreement, controlling possessive and very high-strung. Before I got more of a chill vibe from him. And she transformed from a spicy, temperamental character to a totally mellow one.

The story sadly didn't fit well for me.

Danni hopes to have a fresh start when she moves. She needs to get over a guy she loves because he is engaged to her best friend. That didn't last long when they decided to come along and work with her in the same hospital. She needs to figure out what is more important to her, friendship or the growing attraction. I like the storyline and the backdrop of the hospital made it all that more exciting. But for some reason, I just couldn't get into the story.
