Cass's parents are off to another city. Next on the list is New Orleans. The city is filled with ghosts and all kinds of magic. Even the secret society, her friend (the living kind) wants to be a part of has an office here. 

Cassidy faced the biggest threat ever, Death itself. With the new threat, we dive deep into Cass' abilities and what does it really mean to escape death. Jacob does his best to keep her out of danger, but Cassidy is like a magnet for any kind of trouble. 

I like that the story focuses on friendships of all kinds of variety and that it's a bit darker in tone than the previous ones. And while I really like it, I didn't love as much previous two (City of Ghosts , Tunnel of Bones)

I hope to one day visit all of these towns and follow her path. :)
