I adore Christmas romances, the cheesiest the better. This was not it for me. :)

Viola is one of 5 siblings who inherited the house after their adoptive father died. The house they didn’t know he had. It’s currently being renovated and planned to be turned into a hotel. After being overpassed for the promotion, she signed up to be the chef at the soon-to-be renovated kitchen.

Dom is a caretaker, taking over the hob after his father. He shows her around the place. The more time they spend together, the closer they get.

It’s a slow pace romance. I couldn’t get into it, I especially didn’t like the flow or the dialogs.

Freya just lost her business, her car broke down and is being evicted. As her life crumbles around her, she realises nothing is holding her at Blossomwood.  So she goes to the French countryside. Her estranged uncle died a year ago and his house which should have already been sold is still on the market. The real estate agent that should be the best is no help. With her parents always on the road, she takes it upon herself to clean up the place and sees to the sale.  As she explores the town, she meets all of the wonderful people living there and falls in love with the town and the town mechanic. It's a lovely story, so full of French vibes that it makes you want to move to Provence. There is romance, but the best part was the growth that Freya went through and the small-town vibes.
