I love all things Halloween... the spookiness, the costumes, the candy, the parties... all the things. :) My favorite thing, though, reading something a little bit scary, dark or paranormal. :)
Here are some of my favorite books to read on the spookiest day of the year. :)
Monsters want to find love too... <3 Dearest Clementine by Candace Robinson is a collection of short stories. His love was taken by a creature of darkness, on the search, he writes her stories, all very different, but with a common theme, everyone deserves love, even monsters. They are dark, with lots of horrors sprinkled in, but also, very romantic and so so good! <3
I didn't use to be a fan of zombies, but this book series seriously changed my mind. Dead Meat by Nick Clausen is a nine-book series. Each book follows one day in the zombie outbreak, which is threatening to overcome Europe. It's extremely fast-paced, nonstop action and intensity turned to the max. The best part about it, it has this realistic - if this happened, this is how it would go-vibe, which makes the story eerie realistic.
The first thing that comes to my mind, when thinking of
Halloween creatures are vampires. :) Vampires are what got me back to reading, so they have a special place in my heart. :) And there is just something equally dark & romantic about them. :) My latest favorite series are the Lost Royals of Transylvania by Alexa Whitewolf. Each book follows a different sibling, as they find love. The original descendants of Dracula, the story is filled with mythology and folklore.

If you are in a mood for ghost stores The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman is great to read any day of the year, but it fits perfectly on Halloween. The book follows the boy, that is being raised by the ghosts of the graveyard as he grows up and finds his place in the world. Other ghost books, Cassidy Blake series by Victoria Schwab. While her parents are filčiming a documentary about the most haunted cities, she and her ghost best friends, go on separate adventures. :)
What are you reading today?
happy reading & happy Halloween,
