Diary of a Contemporary Woman by Lucy Pussett
Diary of a Contemporary Woman follows Angelique, single for the first time in a long time, as she rediscovers herself and deals with life as it comes. There are flashbacks to the past, to the experiences that shaped her.
Angelique is an interesting character to follow. She is strong-headed, free, but still tied down by past and society standards.
While I like the story and the main characters a lot, I wasn't the biggest fan of the pacing. There was some part that just flew by, and parts that seem to drag on forever. For some reason, I had a hard time getting into the story.
