I've read some awesome books lately (hope I don't jinx it :) ), you know that kind of books that make stay up way later than is good for you, make you feel aaall the things, that make you fall in love with story or characters, or both... that kind. :) Here are some that I loved lately.

The Viscount who loved me by Julia Quinn

I don't know what is it about the Bridgerton series (movie & book) that is so damn addicting. :) The books (I've read 2 so far) are far from perfect, with different issues, but for some reason, once I start, I just can't stop reading. From the first page on, I've transported into regency London. :) I adore all the bickering and courting and high society nonsense. :) Highly recommend the series... <3

Dead Meat: Day 8

I don't like zombies all that much, in fact, they are my least favorite of all paranormal creatures, but there is something about this series. I just adore it. It's about a zombie outbreak (voodoo ritual gone wrong) that is spreading through Europe. Each book is another day of the Pandemic. And because it's written in this day and age it had an eerie realistic vibe. It's a page-turner, filled with head-spinning twists and turns and so many zombies. :)

Shadow & Bone by Leigh Bardugo

First time I've read the book I wasn't the biggest fan. Then I watched the Netflix series (which I loved) and decide to give it another go... I'm not if I read the same book as the first time, cause I loved it. The world, the magic, anything Grisha basically ... I adore. And Darkling. He is the biggest reason I love the book if I'm honest. :) It's an awesome intro to the incredible world.

Midnight Sun by Stephenie Meyer

I loved Twilight when I first read it, and I loved Midnight
Sun even more. :) Even since I first read the draft on Stephenie Meyer's site I was looking forward to reading it fully one day and I was not disappointed. It's way better than the original, it addicting and surprisingly long. :) But I didn't mind that - I loved every page. :)

Have you read anything awesome lately?

happy reading,
anie
