Crow by Amber R. Duell, Candace Robinson

review

It's one of those books that you just have to read from the first to the last in one swoop. The writing is so addicting, I was pulled into the story right from the start, I felt like I was right there in the story, with Crow and Reva. The land, the character, they just jump from the pages...

It's such a good, addicting series. :) Highly recommend it!

After long time in the dark place, Reva is finally free. She meet her daughter, but the love for the husband is gone, instead all she thinks of is revenge. Reva is a very fierce characters, she knows what she wants and won't let anyone stand in her way, especially not Crow. She has no nice though about him to and blames him for what happened.

Crow has other plans. After he finds out that she went after the Locasta, he decides to follow her and they reluctantly end up traveling together. There is a lot resentment left between Reva and Crow. Their story didn't end on a happy note and between then and now, they both been though a lot of hardship. Reva was turned into the Wicked Withc of the West and Crow spend ten years on field as a indless scarecrow.

But for now they have a common enemy, Locasta. She ruined their lives, took their daughter and pull them apart, and they are both very keen on destroying her.

The more time they travel together, the more are they reminded of why they fell in love in the first time. It's such a beautiful story of second chances.

I love when retelling does a story justice. Crow is retelling of classictale, but with a unique spin. I love the romance, the action, many twist and turns an my favorite thing - they are fae😍 .
