A Gathering of Shadows by V. E. Schwab
I adored the darker shade of magic, I was instantly in love with the world created and magical system and Kell and Lila and all the things ... I wanted to read the second one a Gathering Of Shadow but was a bit reluctant, what if it wasn't as good as the first one ? ... well, it wasn't - it was a lot better. :)
Now that Lila is in Kell's London to stay, she is sailing on the ship with Alucard and making trouble. :) I loved reading about how she handled herself, how she learned about this whole new world and make it hers. She is one of my all-time favorite characters. So strong, yet vulnerable, strong & brave.
On the other side, Kell and Rhy are preparing for Elemetal games and still coming to terms with their bond.
Then there is Holland. Not to give to much away but I loved the twists and all things Holland. :)
I was glued to the pages from start to finish. It's such a unique story, with a very different style of storytelling and I'm all for it. :)
Highly recommend anyone who hasn't read it. :)
