Usually, the first book in series is the strongest and it goes downhill from that. With this series is the other way around. Books get significantly better with each book in the series. The story picks up right after the third one. Lizzy is hurt and trying to recover, while Abel leaves and doesn’t know when he will return. Trouble doesn’t wait for her to be better though. She still has to work as fire impending and besides all the other new supernatural trouble brewing and her life is kind of falling apart.



Without help from Abel, she partners up with unlikely people, with very unique powers.

I especially love to see her character developing, she is getting stronger by the book and more likable with every story. Also the romance… it’s just so sweet. :)

Freya just lost her business, her car broke down and is being evicted. As her life crumbles around her, she realises nothing is holding her at Blossomwood.  So she goes to the French countryside. Her estranged uncle died a year ago and his house which should have already been sold is still on the market. The real estate agent that should be the best is no help. With her parents always on the road, she takes it upon herself to clean up the place and sees to the sale.  As she explores the town, she meets all of the wonderful people living there and falls in love with the town and the town mechanic. It's a lovely story, so full of French vibes that it makes you want to move to Provence. There is romance, but the best part was the growth that Freya went through and the small-town vibes.
