I recommend: books featuring ghosts

These are some of my favourite books, where ghosts are important part of the story. 😊

The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong

First book in Darkest Powers series. This is truly amazing book and amazing series. I've read it multiple time and every time I fall back in love with the setting and characters.

Chloe start to see ghost just as she gets her first period. She gets diagnosed with mental illness and send to special home. What should have been some kind of psychiatric hospital for young people is in reality something totally different. Even other "patients" aren't just ordinary people. There is a lot more there, than meets the eye.

Amazing writing, captivating story line and interesting characters. :) I really like love story in the series, it's not what you expect. :)

Date with the Dead by Chris Myers

Group of teenagers that call themselves Ripsters (Rest In Peace Sophisticated Technology for Efficient Removal of Spirits) helping ghosts to move over in town of full psychics.

Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things

Book with really interesting magical setting and full of different supernaturals (reapers, shapeshifters, zombies,...) and a girl who can raise people from the dead.

The Ghost and the Goth

The most popular girl in school dies and becomes a ghost, only person that can see her is Will, weird kid in school. He can see, touch and communicate with the dead. There is new ghost, that is capable of hurting Will. Thrown together by unlikely circumstances, they both learn that there is more to people that meets the eye. Such a lovely story, gripping from the first page.

Hold Me Closer, Necromancer

Amazing book, weird title. :) Sam is just ordinary guy, working in fast food restaurant, until he finds out he is necromancer. Story is full of supernaturals, (one of his roommates is a head :) ), twists and turns and really funny.

Happy reading,
