Key of Kilenya is one of my favourite books, so going into Forsaken Prince (which is Key of Kilenya rewritten) I was a bit reluctant. What if it isn’t as good? Well, it’s even better. 😏
Jacob is 16 year old boy. One day  girl approaches him, to take him to Makalos so he can help find Key of Kilenya and he just dismisses her, thinking she talks crazy. 😏

He raised an eyebrow. “Excuse me?” Was that even English? “Key of . . . colon? Uh . . . Who hired you?”

 When he gets home, there are monsters lying dead, his mom hurt and dad and sister kidnapped. He has no choice but to go with the girl in he wants to save them. There is evil in that world that is looking for him.

Forsake prince is past pace story of Jacob’s journey to save his family. He and his companions travel through new land full of dangers. The side characters are well developed and have important part in the story.

Can’t wait see what happens to Jacob in the next one. J

Freya just lost her business, her car broke down and is being evicted. As her life crumbles around her, she realises nothing is holding her at Blossomwood.  So she goes to the French countryside. Her estranged uncle died a year ago and his house which should have already been sold is still on the market. The real estate agent that should be the best is no help. With her parents always on the road, she takes it upon herself to clean up the place and sees to the sale.  As she explores the town, she meets all of the wonderful people living there and falls in love with the town and the town mechanic. It's a lovely story, so full of French vibes that it makes you want to move to Provence. There is romance, but the best part was the growth that Freya went through and the small-town vibes.
