Targa lives with her mother. She in high school, summer break just starting. She lives with her mother. Her father passed away a while ago and her mother is a mermaid, working a professional diver. Mermaids come to land to mate and if their child is female, she will be mermaid too. Except that didn't happen for Targa. She is afraid that the call of the ocean will be to much for mother and she will never see her again. She feel guilty for never being able to change and keeping her mother on land.

Her mother has to go to Poland, to salvage mysterious wreck in the Baltic see and Targa happily tags along. After one accident on the see, her entire life is turned upside down.

It's different take on mermaids and I loved it. The story  interesting and I'm excited to read next one in the series.

Happy reading,

Anie
