Melanie move to the town to take care of her dying aunt. After she passed away, she inherited the house and her dog. She works from home. Cat start to visit her in the mornings, one day she has a note behind her collar.

Detective Finn is recovering from car accident at home, the cat visits him too. He watches Melanie a lot, but is unable to make a move, so he decides to use the cat.

Melanie has a feeling someone is watching her, after her house catches on fire, it becomes more than a feeling.

It's lovely romance story, with interesting start. Perfect book for beach or cosy evening. I just wished, the romance took a bit longer to develop.

Heroes are finally all together. They didn't have the best start, the peace with the Roman camp they were hoping for is long gone and they are planning on going after them.  They are on a ship, made by Leo, trying to come to the ancient land, but of course, it never goes smoothly for the heroes. Annabeth has a quest of her own to complete, she has to follow the Mark of Athena and find the statue that was lost for centuries. This one is a bit different but in a good way. Charlie wants to say I Love You to Nick, but can't seem to find a good moment. Meanwhile, his mental health keeps getting worse, to the point that he needs more help than he can get at home.  Nick is consumed with worry.
