#TheRealCinderella by Yesenia Vargas

I'm a sucker for Cinderella stories & movies. There is just something about this story that pulls me in, no matter the format or setting.

I stumble on #TheRealCinderella and I just had to read it. And... I was not disappointed. :) The storyline is very similar to my favorite Cinderella movie: Another Cinderella Story. I was hooked from the start and had to read it in one sitting from first to the last page.

It's soooo good.

Ella's father remarried and year after died. She was stuck living with her very demanding stepmother and two popular stepsisters.

Her stepmother told her, that her father didn't leave her any money, so if she wanted to go to college, she had to work for her to earn some of that money she needs. She has to do anything she asks, from endless chores, cooking, and working for her, for free. Any time she even thinks of refusing, the threat of college hangs over her head.

Her only friend is the guy she never meets in person. They write to each other all the time and are best friends, but they never saw each other.

She just isn't ready for that. Letting her fear get in a way she almost loses him.

It's just the sweetest love story.

It's really quite a year for Ella. As part of the school group she meets a group of friends for the first time, she has a change of real love and it never looked better, only if she didn't stand in her way.

It's so good. I loved the characters, all of them, my favorite was the prince charming... 💜

The addicting story about love, friendship, overcoming your own fears, and standing up for yourself.
