Buried by Sian Claven

One of the best horror books I ever read!

It's so... scary & graphic & the story stays in your head forever. SO GOOD! It's the perfect book to read right in time for Halloween. :)

Group of reporters are going to explore an underground mansion, that supposed to be haunted. Local legends talk about the ghosts, and the curse of the owners and they are on the emission to film and research an essentially overthrow all the rumors. Well, it didn't go as planned. :)

When they get in, they start to explore right away. The mansion is enormous, with countless rooms and secrets. In between the leased tells stories of the horrible thing that happens with each generation living here. But they get in real trouble when stories of the start to come alive.

It's so well written, stories perfectly intertwining, leaving you on the edge of the seat. It filled with twists and turns and the ending ... it's so fitting. The book tells the story of a very disturbed family line and how they came to be. I wished there were like 5 more books. :)

synopsis

Home is where the heart is ... or the hatred.
You can feel the love and care someone puts into their home just by walking into it. Equally, you can feel the hatred and malice when you step into a home where dark deeds have been done.
Alex and his team of so-called paranormal investigators are given the opportunity of a lifetime when they can film inside one of the most haunted, and cursed, locations in their area.
The Jackson Mansion.

The thing that makes this mansion truly unique is that it is built completely underground. Determined to uncover the dark secrets of the mansion's past, and prove himself a notable investigator, Alex doesn't care what it takes. The mansion, however, has other ideas, as well as some rather restless occupants.

happy reading,
anie
