It's one of those special books that stay with you forever. Every now and then I get the urge to re-read it and dive back into the world. Even though I love it so much I only recently started reading the second one (it's amazing too :)).

I didn't expect to like the book so much, given that I didn't like Shiver series at all, but I do love this one ... so so much. :)

Blue is the only one in her psychic family without any powers of her own. She acts as an amplifier for her family. On the St. Mark's eve, she goes to the old churchyard every year as her mother gets names of the people who will die that year. She never sees anyone until this yes. And for a nonseer to see a spirit, there are only two explanations. He is her true love or she will kill him. Soon she finds out his name is Gansey, a boy from nearby private school, one of the raven boys.

Gansey is on the quest, he and his group of friend are researching ley lines. Blue end up joining their little group and they search together. As they get closer to the truth, it gets more and more dangerous and secrets started to spill out.

I love the dynamic of the group, the friendship formed and the dialog. The writing is amazing and the story extremely compelling. Is one of those books that you can't put down till the very last page. It's one my all-time favorite and I highly recommend it!

Happy reading,
Anie
