Synopsis

Broke, almost homeless, and recently fired. Those are my official reasons for answering a wanted ad for a skeevy-looking bartender gig.
It went downhill the moment they asked me to do a trial shift instead of an interview—to see if I’d mesh with their “special” clientele. I think that part went great. Their customers were complete dickheads, and I was an asshole right back. That’s the definition of fitting in, right?
I expected to get thrown out on my ass. Instead, they…offered me the job?
It turns out this place isn’t a bar. It’s aguild. And the three cocky guys I drenched with a margarita during my trial? Yeah, they were mages. Either I’m exactly the kind of takes-no-shit bartender this guild needs, or there’s a good reason no one else wants to work here.So what’s a broke girl to do? Take the job, of course—with a pay raise.

Note: The three mages are definitely sexy, but this series isn’t a reverse harem. It’s 100% fun, sassy, fast-paced urban fantasy.

Review

I can't remember last time I had so much and and many laughs while reading. Three Mages and a Margarita is such a captivating and fun read. I finish it in sitting  and wanted to re-read it immediately.

Tori was fired yet again. She is a very good person, but has huge temper. So she usually gets in to some kind of fight and gets fired. When she gets out looking for a job, she stumbles on a paper with job offers and decides to check it out. Instead of interview she is asked to do a trial shift. The people there were rude to her and she was rude right back. Instead of getting fired fro trowing drink at some guy, she gets a job. The place where she works is not just an ordinary bar.

The magic system is very interesting, I discovery more about it with Tori and the guys are hilarious. :) I like her temper and that she is a bit of a underdog in this worlds. She somehow fits in even though she isn't supernatural. The pace is fast and writing is very engaging. You can't put the story down.

I really enjoyed reading it! Highly recommend it to the fans of Urban fantasy.

Happy reading,
Anie
