I first read the book about a year ago and even though it wasn’t a bad story, it wasn’t great ether. Few months ago Author send me re-edited & re-published story and I was happy to re-read it, however I wasn’t expecting much (since the first version didn’t woow me). I have to say, I was very surprised. It’s like reading totally different book, there is not so much difference in plot like as it is in the “tone of the book”.

I was pulled in just few pages and just had to finish it. The characters are flesh out and they just pop off the page. My favourite being Perrie, there is such a strength to her-love her. :) And August, not to be to spoilery, let’s just say I feel a lot differently toward him. :)

Perrie and Maisie are cousins, best friends and neighbours. They are total opposites of each other and they fit together perfect. There is one more friend in the group August, he is more of a recent addition to the group. One day they drive from school and discover new building - Quinsey Wolfe's Glass Vault. It has quite a mysterious vibe to it and sparks an interest.

People in the town have started to disappear, and when Perrie’s ex boyfriend and Maisie are nowhere to be found she fear they are one of the missing people to. She and August decide to explore the Quinsey Wolfe's Glass Vault, if there is any connection to the disappearances and they soon discover it’s not just ordinary museum.

I just love reading the book. Retelling of classic stories are masterfully intertwined into one thrilling story. There is no dull moment and nothing is what is seems.

Highly recommend to anyone who loves spooky stories!! :)

Happy reading,

Anie
