Far into the future humans have changed their genetics in different ways and populated many galaxies. Draga Galaxy is ruled by king, queen and their children. We mainly follow Adeline, who is third in the line for a throne.

Society centres around dominance and submission, people being born either way. Adeline is the only royal born submissive. Their is very interesting sub race of courtesans, that can be either submissive or dominant, based on demand. The setting was very interesting, populated galaxies, aliens (who have common ancestor). I wish there was more story about that, who that came to be, technology, who the society works. That could be very interesting to read more of.

There is a lot of characters in the story, it's hard to keep track of sometimes and a LOT of political intrigue, that I love.

It has a very good start and finish, the story drags a bit in the middle. Maybe not the perfect book for me, but I can appreshiate the storyline and writing (it is really good).

Happy reading,

Anie
