 Loki is my favourite Norse god, so I was really happy to read a book featuring him. The story is perfect blend of mythology and modern world. I really liked it.

 So, Amy is driving to her grandmother's house and has an accident. There is guy driving down the road, about to kill her, when she is saved by Loki. Loki wakes up in a cell, where he is contained, and finds out, that his sons are about to be killed. He escapes (with style :) ) and is transported to Earth in the middle of saving his sons. He saves Amy and she helps him (somewhat reluctantly) in return. 

 It's such a great story of adventure and unlikely friendship, with flashback to the past, where we learn more about Loki.

 I flew thought he book and really enjoyed reading it.

Heroes are finally all together. They didn't have the best start, the peace with the Roman camp they were hoping for is long gone and they are planning on going after them.  They are on a ship, made by Leo, trying to come to the ancient land, but of course, it never goes smoothly for the heroes. Annabeth has a quest of her own to complete, she has to follow the Mark of Athena and find the statue that was lost for centuries. This one is a bit different but in a good way. Charlie wants to say I Love You to Nick, but can't seem to find a good moment. Meanwhile, his mental health keeps getting worse, to the point that he needs more help than he can get at home.  Nick is consumed with worry.
