OMG, this book is so amazing!!! 

It's like mixture of paranormal elements: psychic visions and mind control, murder mystery, friendship and romance. At times it gets really scary, too.

Meadow has psychic power that run in the family, on her fathers side (he doesn't have powers). Her powers are very strong, unique and undeveloped. If she is in a room she can "see" everyone and everything that happen in it, like in a overlaid movies of the past events. She calls them bygones. When she was very little and her mother died, she helped police solve her murder and it affected her. She kept her powers lock deep inside ever since. 

Her uncle has powers of persuasion, with he mostly uses to get women to sleep with him. She also has a cousin Leonardo, he has similar powers to his father, just not very strong. Her best friend is Nicolas, her next door neighbour, he is always by her side and lately she stated to develop filling for him.

One day her classmate goes missing. Meadow pulls down her defences to find her, and she does. She finds her murdered in the same way as her mother was. She wants to find who did that to her, but is afraid.  After her friend goes missing, she is determined, that she will find her before she ends up dead too. 

However, all is not as it seem. There is something horrible going on, that will turn her life upside down. 

The story is full of unpredictable twists and turns. One I started it, I couldn't put it down. I just had find out what happens in the end. I really hope this is a part of series. :) I want to read more about Meadow. :)
