It is just such a touching story, that made me cry several times. Darren was one of my favourite characters in First Year and it was really interesting to read more about him. I understand him better, why he was acting like that, motivation behind his character.
There is a reason why he is the best and so determined and gained a lot of respect for him. I love that he was able to take something incredibly horrible and come out on top. It's really interesting to see both him and his brother, with similar history and very different outcomes.
I really love this series and author. The writing is impeccable and the book is just sooo good.
