This is how the book should be written. It is without a doubt best book I have read this year. It is utterly amazing, so mesmerising and un-put-downable. I mean, it is just perfect. I love the politics, magical system that was utterly unique, romance, because it took time to develop, and Cecil and Tristan of course. They were just amazing characters, flawed- absolutely not perfect, just great enough to make them love you.
  • Cecil. I love the her strength, she didn't rolled over when she was forced to be in the impossible situation, she grew stronger, gained knowledge, that she never dreamed off and fell in love on her own terms.
  • Tristan. Even though I disliked him at first, he grew into one of my favourite male characters. He is scheming, strong with good hearth. And willing to sacrifice everything for his people or Cecil. 
  • Side characters. Great because the had time to develop during the curse of the book, you get to know and love them. 

  • Politics. I love the way it was portrait, you didn't really know till almost the end what will happen or what is really going on. 
  • Trolls. Are we sure they are trolls, aren't they Fae ? :) 


 One of the best fantasy books I have ever read. It is truly a masterpiece.

Heroes are finally all together. They didn't have the best start, the peace with the Roman camp they were hoping for is long gone and they are planning on going after them.  They are on a ship, made by Leo, trying to come to the ancient land, but of course, it never goes smoothly for the heroes. Annabeth has a quest of her own to complete, she has to follow the Mark of Athena and find the statue that was lost for centuries. This one is a bit different but in a good way. Charlie wants to say I Love You to Nick, but can't seem to find a good moment. Meanwhile, his mental health keeps getting worse, to the point that he needs more help than he can get at home.  Nick is consumed with worry.
